Wyoming-Denver: Sloppy first half!

Wow! Been watching the game via gamecast and it appears to be a very sloppy game. 37 combined fouls, 25 combined turnovers and more free throws attempted and made than field goals attempted and made in the first half. Thankfully the Pokes are in the lead at the half.

Pokes oviously got out-coached the second half. But what struck me was the lack of 3-point attempts. There was really no screening and not enough motion to shake the defenders, in my opinion. If the Pokes put all hope on paint shots, they can expect the defenders to plug up the middle - which is what happened.
I am guessing also that the stats will show very few assists - what maybe 5 at most?

Tough loss. Would have been nice to make it three in a row.

Hopefully Afam is ok and can play this weekend. The lack of assists was amazing - in a bad way.
