For me, I've been waiting to hear Todd Knight get his name called. He's one of the fastest Lb's on our team. I have a feeling he might shake things up this year.

Also, Sonny Puletasi. Should be in the back field many times this fall. Ben Durbin too.

Herron, stratton have me excited. I wouldn't be suprised to see stratton earning a starting role after last spring... and that was after a knee injury and redshirt.

And I want to see what the new kicker can do? Is his leg as strong as schrober's?

I liked when we recruited tyler strong. a 260 lb linebacker in highschool. Now he's on the oline weighing in at 288. Interesting to see how that turns out? bj sumpter moved to oline as well, but he weighs like 310...

Who, other than quarterbacks, have you been waiting to see play football?

I watched a few videos of the kicker and he was knocking those suckers into the endzone, and on a more consistent basis then Schober, and that was in Washington.

Robert Herron at WR. He was THE target at Spring Practice. And with his speed, he'll be a homerun threat everytime.
Zach Rushing O-line. I watched his videos and he was dominating defenders, especially on run plays. He's big, strong, and he runs defenders over.
Alvester Alexander RB (not that I need to post that). Ran for over 700 yards last year, and if he continues on that streak, he should be a 1000 yard rusher this year. Good hands, good speed, good strength, and 2 years of starter experience.
Brett Smith/Adam Pittser QBs. Need more be said?

I thinkg kickers out of high school kick off from the 35? (was the 40 when I was back HS, back in the day) and not the 30 so I think schober (sp) is the kick off specialist but I like the accuracy out of Danny. A big upgrade over the 13 y.o. looking Watts who could kick about as far as my sister.

I am looking forward to seeing Buezuns terrorizing the backfield and +2 on Herron.

All our German Boys, especially Neosha. i think he might become a huge playmaker for us on the defensive side.
Hendricks, probably getting over 100 tackles this year.
Luke Ruff, He has always impressed me whenever he has got playing time.
Herron, I'm very excited about. And if he has worked on catching the ball, I agree he will be our big time playmaker on Offense. I see him getting some amazing yards on screens and slants.
AA, i think if he works on not running out of bounds, he should have a big year.
Ogbanna, I think mighthave a break out year aswell.
I'm curious about Spencer Bruce's move to TE. That might be a good deal.

TJ Smith (WR/TE), he put up good numbers in only three games as a redshirt freshman. He has better hands than any other returning receiver and is decently fast. He had 175 yards and a score in the three games he started last year.

At wide receiver I'm looking forward to Robertson and Doctson as freshmen that will have an impact.
The quarterbacks will get some attention.
Daniel Sullivan will be fun to watch.
Mark Nzeocha and Korey Jones at linebacker
Miraldo Michel and Eddie Yarborough on the d-line

Those are just the newcomers. Brian Hendricks, Josh Biezuns, and Gabe Knaption will be a force to be reckoned with in the front 7 as seniors. They are great leaders as well.

I'll especially have my eye on the secondary. There's some talent and some change over so it will be great to see who starts to stand out.

High school is still the 40. I'm hoping Sulivan can take over the KO's to let Schrober concentrate on nailing the poor sob who catches it. Plus, didn't Schrober only have 8 tb's? Your sister must have some good thighs, Watts' only 2 kick offs last year were 65 and 66 yards against UNLV, the same game he hit a 46 yard fg. I think the D will be very good and with other teams probably focusing on Biezuns, I expect Knapton to go off and have a big year. The O is what has me worried. But with Herron's speed and Smith's hands, these two guys have me pumped. If whoever our QB is has some time, these two guys could be our big play and possesion receivers. Lastly, I expect AA to go over 1,000 yards. In the early games I see us throwing less and running more. I believe he'll have 300 to 400 yards after the first 3 games.

So, I pumped to see Sullivan, Knapton, Herron, Smith and AA!

Luke Anderson- I think his speed can play a factor and he will be good for us
Mazi- I love his game and he knows what it takes to play D1 now i expect him to be our number then Herron/Smith
Daniel Sullivan- I wanna see someone boot the ball in the war. It has been awhile. Watts made all his kicks look close.
Gipson- I think he will kill it this year. He doesnt have big bro looking over him anymore

Mark Willis (DE) - Dude was a monster pass rusher last year before he blew his knee
Ghaali Muhammad (RB) - We need a back that can bulldoze his way through the D line
Chris McNeil (WR) - We need our veteran receivers to step up, and McNeil is poised to breakout in a big way
Korey Jones (LB) - There's a ton of hype behind this guy. I want to see if he can live up to it.

I just want to go on the record and say that I am NOT thrilled to hear that Herron is playing WR. That guy had some HUGE drops last season. I don't care how fast he is, if he can't hang on to the ball he won't be worth a damn.

usually it's us boys with our head in the gutter! :)

I would love to see what some of the freshmen would do, but it looks like we have a lot of depths, so I would like to see if some of the JC guys can jump right in this year unlike the two guys from the New Mexico institute the other year. I hope Miraldo Michel, Korey Jones and some of the JC OL guys can get it done. It looks like Kurt Tufa might be in the mix this year after redshirting. I think Luke Anderson will see some time this year. With that speed, he'll almost certainly be doing something for us.
