You're right. I forgot he got that last one year extension through 24. When I said that, I was thinking he was under contract through 23.laxwyo wrote: ↑Thu Aug 25, 2022 11:33 pmI see no scenario where Bohl gets fired. I don’t think a 2 win season would do it.bullbugle307 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 25, 2022 5:41 pm Last year, I figured the New Mexico game signaled the beginning of the end for Bohl. Four wins might buy him more time, but I've gotta think 3 or less sees him fired/retiring. Which is entirely possible if we lay an egg against one, or especially two of the teams we should be able to beat.

Up to 14 now….. I think the betting world woke up to this free money.bladerunnr wrote: ↑Tue Aug 23, 2022 1:31 pmJust from a gambling perspective, this is the game you could bet your entire bankroll on. Not only are we horrible against P5 teams on the road, we are horrible in road openers as well. The offense usually looks like they are just getting together on the field for the first time ever. We'll see some false starts, man in motion penalties, and the inevitable timeout or delay of game penalty. Bohl will stomp around on the sideline and then we'll settle down and start our usual 3 and outs until the game is out of reach. Good times!

14-48 @ #2 Oregon and 14-56 @ #5 Michigan St. during bohl's first year and a 4 win season
14-31 @ Washington St during our 2 win season
17-52 @ #24 Nebraska
3-24 @ Iowa against a team that lost to only ranked teams except Purdue and smoked #5 Ohio St.
13-40 @ Missouri, an 8-5 team that beat #7 Florida on the road
We weren't exactly catching programs in a down year. The only real head scratcher was @ Washington St. When we lost to Washington St in Laramie, they ended up #10.
Context matters some. I don't think it matters enough to overcome a Big 10 team on the road. I'm giving us a better chance than most of you and I had thought we could win this game. Losing Harsh doesn't give me warm feelings as we couldn't really afford to lose much on the D-line. I had predicted a win here and then a loss to Tulsa because that just would go with what i predicted last year with Utah st and Hawaii. 21-20 Pokes

At least those other teams scored some TDs except for the Iowa game.

So yes, wiping and flushing with the $10-er would have felt a lot better, ey 1016?McPeachy wrote: ↑Fri Aug 26, 2022 4:17 pmGreat point, I think $10 is too much faith betting on WYO this week. May as well just wipe your arse with the 10-er and flush it. Probably feel a lot better.
