Sadly, and weirdly, the first fumble was caused by his own o-linemen.FarEastPoke wrote: ↑Sun Oct 27, 2019 3:29 pm Allen was 16 for 34 for 169 yards averaging 5 yards per pass, no interceptions, sacked 4 times for 14 yards and threw for 2 TDs, giving him a rating of 81.5. I need to say this....LOL
I actually feel bad for Jets & Giants fans this season considering how poop their seasons have gone! ROFLOL Gawd, how can you lose to Miami who's tanking on purpose to get the # 1 pick next spring? And to lose with a QB who sees "ghosts!!!!!"
AND yet....the ONLY team to actually play in the State of New York is now 6-2 and in the driver's seat for at least the # 5 seed (1st Wildcard) in the AFC Playoffs and...they're quarterbacked by the soon-to-be legendary Josh Allen who played college ball at WYOMING.
GO POKES!!!!!

To be fair, I do not think Buffalo is for real. The Bills have not beaten a team with a winning record. Their best win is Tennessee, who is 4-5. Their other 5 wins are the Jets, Giants, Bengals, Dolphins, and Redskins.... all are among the WORST teams in the NFL.Wyokie wrote: ↑Wed Nov 06, 2019 10:28 pm I need to say this....LOL

The Bills have played two decent teams - New England and Philadelphia. What happened in both games? They lost.
Sorry to burst your bubble. If the playoffs began today, Buffalo would be the #5 seed. Their Wild Card round opponent would be a date in KC with the Chiefs, which I think they would get obliterated by.

Against New England, the Bills were driving before Josh was KO'd and the drive fizzled out with the backup showing why he was the backup and not the starter. It was a 1 score game.WYO_Fan_inPA wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2019 6:45 amTo be fair, I do not think Buffalo is for real. The Bills have not beaten a team with a winning record. Missed out on the Eagles game, so can't really comment on that.

Yeah they were shut down by the "world class" Patriots defense. Another overrated entity in the NFL that has been favored by vastly inferior competition.fromolwyoming wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2019 1:13 pmAgainst New England, the Bills were driving before Josh was KO'd and the drive fizzled out with the backup showing why he was the backup and not the starter. That was a pretty awesome game on Allen's part. He also threw a couple of key blocks to help Singletary get significant yards rather than losing ground.FarEastPoke wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2019 6:00 pm Allen was 19 for 24 for 231 yards averaging 9.6 yards per pass, no interceptions, and threw for 1 TD, sacked four times for 27 yards, giving him a QB rating of 120.7. One of my favorite moments on the night was when they were going for it on 4th down, QB sneak, but the ball gets fumbled in the exchange. Josh grabs the ball, and lunges forward, through a defender, and got about 3 yards. And he was about as close to the pile of defenders and blockers as he could be without being in the pile.Asmodeanreborn wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2019 6:15 pmThat was a pretty awesome game on Allen's part. Its things like that, that truly put Josh above many other QBs.

Josh played great and I think finally changed the national perception of him and the Bills. Nice!

He's making big strides in pocket presence, anticipation of throwing windows, and better consistency in ball placement. It looks like he's getting a better grasp on pre-snap reads, too.
That was a really nice game for Josh! Amazing how far he's come in just a couple of years.
