Kansas, I respect your opinion. Aren't the coaches responsible for not having classes distributed a bit better? I understand starters getting hurt, but why not go after some JC guys to pad your bench a bit? I know there are problems with credits transferring, and all of that, but damn, other schools have injuries and still manage to have more than freshmen and red shirt freshmen on the bench. I actually think Wofford had better O linemen than Wyoming and if they can recruit to an FCS school, shouldn't Wyoming be in an advantageous position if competing for the same recruits? What needs to be done differently? Thanks in advance for your answer.kansasCowboy wrote: ↑Sat Sep 15, 2018 6:08 pmTerrible play calling or terrible injuries?
Tell me an offense in G5 that wouldnt struggle with a Frosh Qb. What is it, two or three fresh linemen? How many got hurt today? And to top it off our top two top RB’s are out which leaves us with a 3rd string Fresh. Let’s see what else we could add to the list that would plague an offense...
We have two TE’s out with injury. We have two experienced WR’s Conway/Price. Other than that we have year one Ismail and year two, little experience Scott/okwali. Oh, and to top it all off one of our speedy offensive weapons quit the team for “personal reasons”.
Am I missing anything???

What is the difference between politicians and stoners? Politicians don't inhale...they just suck.

I would normally say take the W's however you can get them. Not today. This W doesn't feel like a win at all. The next 5 games, yes I'm including the trip to Fart Collins could be disastrous. FCS games (don't tell me how good Wofford is in the FCS) should be style points games. Having to take the lead with 17 seconds against an FCS team is garbage.

That's our best chance for a win against the PAC 12 this season. 0-6 right now.

Hmm? Fresno's solid and dominating UCLA right now - though obviously that could change.cowpoke pride wrote: ↑Sat Sep 15, 2018 8:29 pmThat's our best chance for a win against the PAC 12 this season. 0-6 right now.

Uh, yeah, he's going to say that. Doesn't mean that's how he really feels or what he is telling his players/coaches right now.cali2wyo wrote: ↑Sat Sep 15, 2018 5:36 pmExactly. Sadly I'm sure Bohl will say we had a hard fought win and say they're on to the next game...
What is said in public is a far cry from how things go down behind closed doors. As it should be.

Hope we look better with some guys back. Today's team is near bottom if not bottom of MWC.
No way to put much of a positive on today (other than guys kept playing and TVW flashed). Only thing that can be used is injury excuse. Hopefully it's not an excuse. Reality is, this year's team has yet to look good. Defense looked good against very bad NMSU team who finally benched both QBs we faced.
We'll see but anyone willing to bet that we compete for a conference championship, PM me. We can define compete and you can put your money where your mouth is. I will.

I think we can compete for a conference championship. We just need to find a way to drug all our opponents.ragtimejoe1 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 15, 2018 9:40 pm We'll see but anyone willing to bet that we compete for a conference championship, PM me. Oregon State is literally that bad. Do we not remember CSU destroying them at the beginning of last year? I think OSU even finished 1-11 if I’m not mistaken.
And the argument was mwc/Wyo against winning top P5 programs.

Where does the line for "top" programs go? Top 5? MWC doesn't play teams ranked that high all that often.kansasCowboy wrote: ↑Sun Sep 16, 2018 2:33 am And the argument was mwc/Wyo against winning top P5 programs.

Convaluted, confusing, multiple paragraph ramblings are somehow more accurate than a very succinct sos calculation. I guess you gotta have something to support a false narrative.Asmodeanreborn wrote: ↑Sun Sep 16, 2018 7:19 amWhere does the line for "top" programs go? Top 5? In other news, Mizzou was taken to the wire by a bad Purdue team and SDSU knocks off a T25 Pac 12 team.
False narratives, I tell ya!

My apologies as it was a touch of sarcasm and not directed at any individual person but more of a general statement towards a thought process seen here and other groups.
