After just seven days Wyoming athletic director Tom Burman has found his man to lead Wyoming football after the dismissal of Dave Christensen. A “major announcement” will be made at 5pm MT in the Wildcatter Stadium Club and Suites and the event is open to the public. All indications are Tom Burman will announce North Dakota State head coach Craig Bohl will be taking over the football program. The hire was first reported by Bruce Feldman of CBS Sports and was later confirmed by Mike Vorel of the Casper Star Tribune.
Many questions will be answered at the press conference. When will Bohl take over (NDSU is still alive in the FCS playoffs)? How much will he be paid? How much will his staff be paid? What is his vision for the program moving forward? All those questions and more will be answered and our very own Connor Cunningham will be there for WyoNation so check back after for his report.
