We got down by 10 to Oregon State. Who knows. Maybe we'll shoot higher than 7 percent from the three point line in the second half.

This team just shoots too many 3's and doesn't make them. 2-16 again tonight. Don't want to have to watch this for another 2 or 3 years. Getting ridiculous. Need some type of offense besides jacking up 3's.

Yep. We're not playing great, but the officials give every 50/50 call to South Carolina.
The refs built the South Carolina lead in this one.

No one is going to deny that but you also can't deny these Homer refs. I'm not saying we're losing because of the refs but they are stalling our momentum.Adv8RU12 wrote:Want to know the answer? Coaching. South Carolina adjusted at the half. Wyoming didn't. Simple.
We have to be the easiest team to game plan against. The opposing coaching strategy: play under control wyo will turn the ball over 15 to 25 times so we will get lots of extra possessions to build a lead. Defend the 3 line lightly, wyo shoots tons of 3s but rarely makes them and does no offensive rebounding so just get the rebound, it's like another turnover. Run our normal offense, wyo gives us so many extra possessions even if the wyo defense is good some of time all the extra possessions will add up

If gorski doesn't shoot 50 percent from 3 he's unplayable

How can we shoot so well at home but so so so so bad on the road. Every time.
Our bigs get absolutely slaughtered vs good bigs. That is the missing piece imo. JJ was the best player on the court.
Dalton is not fast enough to take people off the dribble and too weak to do anything else. When his three ball isn't falling he hasn't got anything. More mid range?

Maldonado' offense is brutal. I think we missed an opportunity to redshirt him

Tough to have any offense when they throw you out there with 3 min left and the thing is basically over. Not even close to enough time to get rewarmed up.

JJ was the only guy who showed up tonight. He was the only reason we didn’t get blown out. Had a double double with 16 minutes left in the game. Not sure why Moemeka played only like 3 minutes, while Naughton played way more than usual. I still think our best lineup has JJ at point (which he played for most of the second half), with Adams, Moemeka, Dalton and Herndon. We are missing Anthony Mack big time. We need a reliable 3 point shooter, not a streaky, not a great defender, who doesn’t bring a lot to the table #3

Watching a game like this is difficult enough without having to listen to the whining about the ref's.
