Rivals has been tracking and rating with a star system for the past 10 years. It's interesting to take a look back at some of the classes and the players signed in those classes.
2003: Not a real great class in my opinion. Only signed 3 starters and one future Cowboy star-Derrick Martin.
2004: a fairly solid class by Glenn. Signed 9 full time starters. Highlighted by Wynel Seldon, Julius Stinson, and Kyle Howard.
2005: A mediocre class coming off a LV Bowl win. Many of these kids left during or after their freshman year. Did well on defense with Corey Mace, Weston Johnson, and Fred Givens. Also the class of Karsten Sween. Marcel Gipson was also a grey shirt in this class.
2006: Only one noteworthy player signed in Chris Prosinski. Again, signed a ton of skill position guys that left the program.
2007: This could have been Glenn's best class. Really solid guys a who played a ton of games... Biezuns, Hendricks, Knapton, and David Leonard
2008: Joe Glenn's last recruiting class, now we see why. Only 1 true contributor in Tashaun Gipson. The rest of this class saw 1 to 2 starts or left the program.
