....the former Poke commit circa 2006 signed a free agent contract with Dallas today. He spurned the Pokes for TCU, saw the writing on the wall with some Dalton guy playing in front of him, and then transferred to Midwestern State.

Ahhhhhhh......what coulda been. Imagine if D-Mo and Seldon had a decent quarterback.

ps....if Brett Smith is the starter it's gonna be a loooooooonnnnnggggg year.

Freshman are freshman. Not everyone can be Sam Bradford. True Freshman QB + Shaky O-Line = God help the Wyoming Cowboys. Considering the situation, struggles would be expected at most programs.

And when I mean struggles, I mean somewhere between 3-9 and 5-7 for 2011. I can't see anything lower or higher.
