Young team = bright future

I saw that vs UNLV 15 of 22 starters were underclassmen. Granted we had more than a few veteran starters out/injured, but we still are a young team. This obviously bodes well for the future.

Changes need to be made on offense, obviously, but could the program have turned a corner? Seems like it has to me. We are building for the future, but at the same time have not 'bottomed out' like past Wyoming teams.

Depth is building along BOTH lines and all position groups look good with emerging players everywhere. It will be difficult (or impossible) to replace our LBs Cash and Logan (Tyler Hall will be hard to replace too) but for the first time in a long time I'm not scared to death of who we are going to lose and know that we will more or less 'reload'. Keep it rolling, Pokes!

I was very impressed with the way the young players stepped in on the O-line against UNLV. Bohl has built a program absolutely!

However, just because a team has a bunch of underclassmen doesn't mean that they will be good in future years. I didn't see a ton of talent on UNLV and I don't see UNLV being good without some real change there.

Love the way we are improving...and no doubt our depth is the best it has been in a long time in the trenches. I love our running backs. they are young and very talented. the only thing about the UNLV game is 1)chambers still needs to not try and thow it 120mph. he did better at some touch passes this game. 2)unlv....is a very very very bad team. Can't wait for next weekend!
