oh man how sweet would it be? We would be consistently selling out or at least getting 13-14k per game

us, NM, sdsu, and UNLV would all be big rivals with eachother
I say we could of had a good 6 or 7 MWC banners by now if Shyatt would have stayed (between tourneys and regular seasons)

But hey who knows? Maybe his time in the ACC and SEC winning some national championships made him a lot better coach. And you can guarantee that it opened up our recruiting pipeline a lot more. Especially with Duncan leaving UCLA for the same freakin job at UW!

I do think we can win the MWC tourney this season though. Not saying we will because I also think NM, SDSU, and UNLV can too.
All it takes is a 3 game win streak at the right moment to make the big dance!

What do you think our record will be in the AA this season?

I think we can realistically hit 15-2
And if we knock off the BIG 3 in the MWC at home, I think we could see 17-0

Besides them (UNLV, SDSU, NM) our hardest home games look to be Colorado, and Denver.

WORST case scenario, I see us going 12-5. Which I would NOT be happy with. Such a young team, we GOTTA take at least 14 or 15 in the AA

He was sophomore but still, very good. averaging a double double.
But I think that Leonard will out play him. They are similar in height but leonard has about 20 pounds on him. Leonard wins the match up, especially in laramie.

And they lost 2 of their top 3 scorers. One to the NBA and one graduated.
That will be a great game. I am hoping both are undefeated going into it and we blow it open in the second half. AAAH I am over football and want hoop season here!

Nobody truly believes these picks have any effect......you're right, they are just for fun. I think most are just a little apprehensive after everyone got their hopes up at all-time high levels for UW football, only for the team to fail miserably. Its normal for people to take the "sit and wait" approach and be excited for this team rather than disappointed if they don't reach X amount of wins.

Its because we have been a goddamn joke in Football and Basketball for a long time and no one wants to get ahead of themselves. I have faith we will win a lot of games this year but how many can honestly say it about the football team? I THINK the basketball team will be really good. I THOUGHT the same of the football team
