Great interview and thanks for posting. I agree with Smith in that the last years AFA game was the best game the team played during his tenure. Interesting comments concerning the level of preparation for that game. Understand they prepared for it throughout the year, but really showed what the team was capable of and too bad it did not continue to carry over throughout the year.

Definitely interesting. It makes me think that if that is how they played when well prepped, then why weren't the coaches getting the players that prepped for every game or at least every conference game? It doesn't hurt that Air Force was pretty bad, I guess.
