Okay, the negatives for this new system.

1. It needs internet access once every 24 hours.
2. Not backwards compatible.
3. Still no release date.
4. Functions more like PC than console.
5. Has not said if games will have to be downloaded or can still be bought at stores.

Good.

1. Skype is a main app.
2. A whole bunch of other apps.
3. Very powerful specs.
4. Blue-ray player.
5. Incredible graphics.

Meh. (Neutral/Don't care either way)

1. Design.
2. Controller.
3. Kinect is standard (but improved).
4. Voice activated.
5. Functions with other electronics.

More cons:

Will not work without kinect plugged in.
More centered to be a media center than a game console.
All games will be installed (reading between the lines: no used games)

I'm going with the PS4, myself.

Has ANYTHING been released on the PS4 besides an outline against a black background?

I believe the kinect is built into it because you use voice and motion to grab things like in minority report

We know everything about the PS4 except what it looks like, and we know it'll probably look like a black box with a disc slot and some ports. Who cares what it looks like? I'm more concerned about games, of which Sony has shown us a lot. I could really care less if it can run my dish receiver. I've got a remote that does that.

Oh the design doesn't bother me either (same goes for the Xbox 1), it's how well it functions as a game console and the games for it that concerns me. I was just wondering what it would look like and the specs. The Skype I don't mind, as it will make Xbox live much easier to use, and the blue-ray is just an upgrade for the DVD player.

To be fair about the games, they did say to look at E3 for Xbox 1 games.

A BluRay player in a gaming console.. how 2006 of them.
So, they should have stuck with just a regular DVD player and say "well, if we do a blue-ray player, people will just criticize us for doing something we didn't really need to do 7 years ago", right?

What I'm saying is that Microsoft isn't being terribly innovative.. putting a Bluray player in a console is something they shoulda done a LONG time ago, and shoulda done with future generations of 360. Sony sold an assload of PS3s just because it was the best Bluray player on the market, and sold them to people who don't ever buy the console for games.

Yeah, kinect wasn't innovative at all. Buy your shitty play stations . I'm sure you and the ten people around the globe will enjoy your cowboy dynasty.

And the 360 is still winning the console wars. The Xbox 1, unless some major changes are made, will lose to even the WiiU, no doubt, but the 360 is still doing really well.
