The Pokes kickoff the season tomorrow against North Dakota and we here at WyoNation have predictions! The WyoNation staff is pleased to be joined by Robert Gagliardi of the Wyoming Tribune Eagle and Ryan Holmgren from the Casper Star Tribune in making our picks this season.

What I would love to see: 66 to 14

I don't think that coach Bohl would do that do them, but it would sure be fun. If it is a blow out. I see something like 51 to 17. Wick and Hill put 280 yds and Coffman throws for another 380. Overstreet gets a couple of touches for 50+. Which QB is in there at that time in the 4 Q would it be Young or Nick Smith? Do they save the red shirt for Josh Allen and not burn it in this game. Late score by ND for them to get to 17.

What I think will happen.. The Pokes win easily: 41-17. UND score a late drive TD. The score is 38-10 at the end of the 3Q. Pokes roll in the first three possessions and go up early 21-0. Hill and Wick are monsters and opens up the game for Coffman. Secondary gives up a couple big plays, but counter with three picks. Yarborough with 3 sacks. Defense speed at linebacker shows and the inexperience with the DB at least on Saturday is masked by this welcomed element to the Pokes' defense.
