I think BYU's game plan will look an awful lot like SDSU's in the championship game. In other words, who wins this game more or less comes down to how the lines play, unless Allen somehow overcomes having no protection. While it's nice that it's a possible scenario that he helps us steal a game, I'd rather win because our lines won the battle in the trenches, giving Hill holes to hit, and BYU no time to get things going.
 
All right. Gags picked us to lose, so that means we're going to win.

If we can have a decent run game I think we win. If not, all bets are off. Wyoming wins 42-38
 
If we hold them below their avg running the ball and force them to throw the ball I like our chances in this game.

In the wins against big opponents this season we won because we held their run games in check and were able to run the ball.

I think the San Diego state games are the perfect way of viewing this game.

In the first game we pushed them around and played more physical and ran the ball well and limited their run game and we won. In the second game they dominated the los and stopped our run game and ran wild against us and we lost.

The cold weather in the title game helped the stronger running team. The warmer weather should help Allen. And the 2 1/2 weeks to prepare should help get some of the younger D players up to speed.

I like our chances....27-21 Pokes!

I knew we weren't going to win the conference championship game as soon as this blog was posted for this very same reason lol
 
Biggest problem against SDSU was that we were our own worst enemy... too many turnovers. We need to protect the ball better
 
Allen was running for his life almost the entire night and it was because we couldn't run the ball so they really released the hounds on him
