We are back with the 5 on 5 for this season. Check it out and let's hear some predictions
 
I want to actually see our receivers against non-Wyoming defenders. I feel it's going to be impossible to predict our overall record before seeing if they can get separation and if they can hold on to Allen's missiles.

Similarly, where our run defense is will dictate whether the defense improves or not. If it doesn't, I don't think we'll win more than 7. If it does and the receivers show up... well, we could win them all. ;)


One prediction I'd be willing to put money on: we'll see AT LEAST one defensive player this season getting an ejection for targeting Allen. He's got a big red target painted all over him, because every defensive player we're facing know that a highlight reel hit on Allen could be their ticket to getting NFL attention. I just pray Allen won't get injured on such a play... or any other play, for that matter.

Another prediction: our run game will be at least decent. Just looking back at Bohl's history, he's been able to almost always have successful runningbacks thanks to great O-lines, and while we've lost a very good Center, I think we'll still have a great O-line this year.
 
Allen took some major shots to the head last year that should have been targeting. I would expect refs to protect him a little more this year.

I think Milo Hall and the other running backs are more than capable to run. You hit it on the head, Bohl's track record speaks for itself

Refs might protect him, but usually that comes after the bad hit. I think that's honestly my biggest worry this season. Thankfully, Josh is big, tough, and comes with plenty of power himself.
 
That's like having an unnecessary plan to go beyond some ice wall, and getting a dragon killed.

Unfortunately we're talking MW refs. Worst in the nation IMO.
