Getting pummeled by OKSt the other night didn't help matters any..

I have to say I wasn't surprised. The top 5-6 teams in the country are quite a good deal better than the next 10. For us to beat Oklahoma earlier this year was very impressive but I think it also showed that they were overrated (not to slam our very impressive season). We are still a few years (and probable quite a few $$$) away from being on the level of a Okie State, Penn State, Minn, etc.

Having said that, I was impressed this weekend that we were able to be very close in a few matches that we lost, that's encouraging. Also, we had some impressive wins against Chattanooga, including Zehner pinning the then-#13/14 ranked wrestler in his weight class.

The best part is that wrestling these national powers will make things seem much easier for our guys come regionals and NCAAs. Wrestling a #19/20 doesn't seem so bad when you've wrestled multiple Top 10 wrestlers throughout the year.

It was nice to see the Cowboys hammer UNC and UTC last week.. puts some distance between the men and the boys.
