IDK who is right, but on the radio broadcast Dave and Kevin said it was the first time someone had 3 sacks in 3 games to start the season was 95 or so. But they could be wrong about that.

1997. Foster (CST) tweeted the same thing, so they probably got that stat from the media relations staff. But the key distinction from Brad could be being the first DE to do so.

Mine said "first defensive end" but there is also the stat that says, "first player since 95." Two stats, both different, I only included the DE stat.

Still pretty amazing. I know we do give up too many big plays and crap, but it's still nice to see pressure on the QB that actually gets there from time to time. Appleby would've had another one too if he hadn't been held (though the refs missed it).
