As will I. Not sure it will be close though - I am thinking SDSU wins by 12. Tough way to open the conference, and the efforts against Fort Lewis (home), Montana State (away), Indiana State (away), Southern (home), and Marshall (away), still make me wonder which team will show up.
Whenever we(the messageboard) think our team is overmatched and will probably lose we seem to suprise and compete really well. Its been other games where we dissapoint.
I have a strange feeling about this game for some reason and am predicting a win.
Being winter break, their arena will at least be a little more tame with no students there. The place will still be loud, but it shouldn't be that intimidating for our guys. Luckily the winner in basketball isn't determined by rebounding margin, I think there's a chance for us
Josh will score 28+ Jason will have 15, but i don't see anyone else helping out much at a hostile arena and we get beat sorry, sure hope I'm wrong!!! it's not the strong SDSU team we've been accustomed to tho....prove me wrong Pokes
This one is probably gonna be a low scoring defensive tussle. We're gonna have to knock down the 3 as per usual to stay alive. Hoping Naughton grabs more mins tonight to keep the tecs off the boards. I have trouble seeing us being able to close out this game for a win in even if we keep it close. Hopefully Adams finds a way.
Its tough to gauge this conference season. SDSU has not done a damn thing to show that they are the Aztecs we have come to expect the last decade. This Wyoming team has shown the ability to play up in road games. I can't say I would expect a win tonight as it is still SDSU, but I will not be shocked if we go in there and handle our business. It'll be a good indication of what conference season will look like. Either way, GO POKES!!!
Despite SDSU's resume to date, this is still one of the toughest (if not the toughest) road games of the season. I think we will be competitive but a win would still greatly surprise me.
I think San Diego St. will probably destroy us down low and that will be our downfall this game. Think we will probably get beat by double digits. Hope I am wrong.
