We do not contest for offensive rebounds. They just got a basket off of a second put-back attempt. This decision to clear out after the initial shot on our part is clearly part of the plan. How many points do we give up when the shooter doesn't even try to follow his shot?

Washington in foul trouble due to swatting at point-blank shots...again.
 
Like the bench play. Foul trouble might actually help us have fresh legs in the second half. Lots of bench minutes in the first half.
 
Real lack of getting inside like SDSU is doing. We will see what adjustments Shyatt makes at half. He didn't do well at that job at CSU.
 
Larry Nance Jr. is only getting better with each game. Kid is going to be good. And the rest of the bench is starting to show some life. Waddel is as solid as ever. And Washington keeps batting down shots, be it way too close to the shooter or in an awesome save. Martinez and Cruz are not getting much breathing room offensively, but still doing well defensively. And Lester heads the team on both sides, locking down his target on defense, and either making or creating plays on offense.
 
They could do with a little less swatting by Washington.

You know that his legs should be fresh in the second half?
