Signing day for the Olympic sports was today and Wyoming Athletics will be welcoming several new student athletes to campus next fall. To recap all of the new signees here is the list, sport by sport.
Men's Golf:
Kellen Ball (Windsor, Colorado)
Ball is a decorated golfer from Windsor High School. He finished runner-up at the state tournament in 2022 and won the regional tournament in 2024. Ball was honored on the all-state team each of his four years and was all-conference each of those years, as well. He helped Windsor Charter Academy to a pair of top-three team finishes at the state tournament and a regional championship in 2022.
Austin Barry (Fort Collins, Colorado)
Barry is a stout golfer from Fossil Ridge High School. He’s a two-time first-team all-state golfer, and he helped his squad to a team state championship in 2022. Barry was a four-time first-team all-conference selection and won regional medalist honors in 2021.
Ryker Lind (Evanston, Wyoming)
Lind was a very accomplished golfer from Evanston High School. He was named Wyoming Golfer of the Year in 2024. Lind was all-state each of his four years, claiming the state title in 2024, in addition to making the all-state team each of his four years. He’s the state’s low-round record holder at 65, which he accomplished in 2021 and his scoring average of 68.7 in 2024 is also a state record.
Connor Scheich (Highlands Ranch, Colorado)
Scheich is an impressive golfer from Mountain Vista High School. He was a first-team all-state recipient in 2023, while also being a two-time second-team all-state honoree. In addition, Scheich was named all-conference each of his last two high school seasons.
Cowgirl Basketball:
Liv Blomkvist | 6-4 | Forward/Center | Stockholm, Sweden | Lulea Elite Academy
Blomkvist helped win back-to-back Division 1 North Ladies League titles and is currently the team captain for RIG Lulea. Blomkvist has also been the captain of both her U15 and U16 National Teams. At the 2023-24 Swedish National Championship, Blomkvist was named the Player of the Tournament. A silver medalist at the Swedish U19 Championships, Blomkvist also was named the MVP of her national team at the Portugal tournament in 2022.
Katie Harrington | 6-0 | Guard | Victoria, Australia | Carey Baptist Grammar School
Harrington has been a three-time MVP and a team captain for two different squads during her prep career. Harrington has also received all-conference honors multiple times, from different teams in Australia. She is also a decorated volleyball student-athlete and academic student.
Jane Rumpf | 6-2 | Forward | Denver, Colorado | Regis Jesuit High School
Rumpf was named a Second Team Continental League member in 2022 and 2023 and led Regis Jesuit to a Colorado 6A Elite 8 appearance, as well as a state runner-up finish in 2023. Rumpf has also been a decorated field hockey student-athlete and participated in soccer at RJHS.
Peyton Wohlford | 6-2 | Forward | Smithville, Missouri | Smithville High School
Wohlford has been named all-conference, all-district and all-state each of the past two seasons. She has helped lead Smithville to a pair of conference and district titles and a pair of fourth-place finishes at the Missouri State Tournament. A decorated golf and soccer student-athlete, Wohlford is already second all-time in school history in career 3-pointers made. She owns each of the top two spots for single-season and single-game 3-pointers made.
Cowgirl Volleyball:
Kiley Reisner, Simi Valley, Calif
While competing for Simi Valley High, Reisner was the Coastal Canyon League champion and a nine-time match medalist in 2024. She won the FCG National Tour Fall Series Championship at Temecula Creek, Calif., and the FCG Washington Championship at Chambers Bay and was the runner-up at the National Tour Las Vegas Junior FCG at Las Vegas Golf Club. Her scoring average in tournaments is 72.1. Reisner, ranked 148th nationally in the recruiting class, was also recruited by a list of schools including Colorado, Colorado State, Grand Canyon, Long Beach State, Oklahoma, Oregon State San Jose State, Southern Miss and Texas Tech. Her older sister, Kira Reisner, is a sophomore on the current Cowgirls team.
Ellie Barry, Fort Collins, Colo
Barry is a two-time all-state first team selection and helped lead Fossil Ridge High School to a state runner-up finish in the Class 5A Colorado Championships in 2024. She was a medalist at the 2023 Colorado PGA Junior Cup Series at Coal Creek and had two top 10 finishes at the CGS State Junior Championships in 2023-24. Barry, the No. 550 national recruit in her class who has family ties to Wyoming, was also recruited by Bowling Green and South Dakota State. Her twin brother, Austin Barry, is part of the UW men's 2025 recruiting class.
Cowgirl Soccer:
Jordyn Farrer (American Fork, Utah)
Farrer is a forward from American Fork, Utah. She played club for Utah Avalanche ECNL.
Macey Fothergill (Falcon, Colorado)
Fothergill is a midfielder from Falcon, Colorado. She played club for Colorado Rush ECNL.
Addison Keen (Wildwood, Missouri)
Keen is a defender from Wildwood, Missouri. She played club for Saint Louis Scott Gallagher ECNL.
Haley Robinson (Albuquerque, New Mexico)
Robinson is a defender from Albuquerque, New Mexico. She played club for Rio Rapids GA.
Jenna Wanner (Spokane, Washington)
Wanner is a midfielder from Spokane, Washington. She played club for Spokane Sounders GA.
Cowboy Basketball:
Gavin Gores – Forward – 6-10 – 210 Pound – Cumberland, Wisc. (Cumberland High School)
Gores is rated as a three-start recruit by 247sports.com. He is the 46th ranked power forward in the class and was the sixth ranked recruit in Wisconsin. Gores was an All-State selection last season. He is already Cumberland High School’s all-time leader in scoring. As a junior in a contest against Regis High School, Gores recorded 51 point and 19 rebounds and, in another contest, recorded 47 point and 18 rebounds. This summer, Gores was named All-UA Rise First Team. He was also recruited by Illinois, Illinois State and North Dakota State.
Nasir (Naz) Meyer – Guard – 6-7 – 185 Pounds – Los Angeles, Calif. (New Hampton Prep)
He currently is playing at New Hampton Prep in New Hampshire. He recorded 35 points with seven threes against Western Reserve at the National Prep Championship. He also played at Agoura High School in California averaging 19.4 points per game, 8.4 rebound and 2.4 assists per game. He was also recruited by Marquette and Arizona State.
Neil Summers – Forward – 6-9 – 240 Pounds – Laramie, Wyo. (Laramie High School)
An All-state selection last season at Laramie High School, Summers averaged 17 points and 11 rebounds per game leading his team to the state title game. He led the state in rebounding and was fifth in the state in scoring including games of 31 point and 21 points. He scored 20 points and had 15 rebounds in the state title game as a junior. He was an All-State in his sophomore season averaging 12 points and 11 rebounds per game. The Plainsmen played in the 4A Championship in that 2022-23 season. He will be reunited with former teammate Levi Brown on the Cowboys.
Cowgirl Volleyball:
Jillian Gregory | 6-0 | Outside Hitter | Wichita, Kansas | Maize South High School
Gregory, who was named the Most Valuable Player this fall in the Ark Valley Chisolm Trail Division I League, is a four-time all-league honoree. Gregory, who was also named a multi-time All-Wichita/Metro Team member, is a two-time team captain at MSHS. Last season, Gregory led Kansas 5A in kills per set and hitting percentage. Gregory, who is also a decorated track & field student-athlete, has received a Prep Volleyball and IMG 4-star rating.
Lily LaFlesch | 5-7 | DS/Libero | Gilbert, Ariz. | Perry High School
LaFlesch, who was the 2023 All-CUSD Defensive Player of the Year, is a multiple-time all-conference and all-region team honoree. LaFlesch is also a highly-decorated beach volleyball player and was named a team captain this past season. Last season, LaFlesch helped lead Perry to a 6A State Runner-Up finish.
Sara Quigley | 5-10 | Setter | McKinney, Texas | McKinney Boyd High School
Quigley, who is a three-time First Team All-District 5-6A, was named the 2023 Setter of the Year. She is also a two-time Allen Open All-Tournament Team selection. A multi-time letterwinner at Boyd High School, Quigley is a member of the National Honor Society and is a three-time Academic All-District honoree.
Anna Williams | 6-1 | Middle Blocker | Chandler, Arizona | Hamilton High School
Williams, who is a team captain at Hamilton High School, was named the Most Valuable Player and received an All-Region honor throughout her career. Williams is also a Student of the Year candidate at HHS. Williams has been a four-time letterwinner in volleyball at Hamilton.
