I am smoked on eastern time but a quick write up:
Luke Willochell had some tough draws today and came up just short in SV in the Consi’s. His season is done and was a great one for a TF.
Riley Davis got a really nice win in Consi prelims but would come up just short next round and his season is done. He was rocking a big knee brace which was new; it looked like it hurt his lateral movement.
Gabe Willochell lost a controversial first match but came back to win in the Consi. He will continue his path tomorrow
Eddie and Joey are your first quarter finalists since 2022. Shoutout to Adam for that stat. Joey even got Coach Ford in a sport coat.
Carroll lost his first bout but came back and launched the UVA wrestler into a pin. He was hit in the head something to watch. I know he isn’t 100% but I love watching his grit and just effort.
