WYO vs. Nebraska Watch Party for Washington, DC Metro area

The Washington Metro area Wyoming Alumni Association "Washington chapter" will host a WYO vs. Nebraska at Crystal City Sports Pub tomorrow beginning at 11:30 a.m.

The Pokes and Huskers kick off at 12:00 Noon.

The Crystal City Sports Pub offers a variety of good food and drink. All Pokes fans are welcomed.

A question for you, Virginian; how many other team's fan forums do you have an account on? I mean, I browse the out of conference teams' sites, but I don't actually make accounts there. But I've seen that you have.

I'm usually on one or more OCC web sites for any given year. I like interacting with OOC fans, particularly if they are visiting Laramie. I try and be an ambassador for Wyoming and avoid any trash talking, for the most part.

I also have accounts with MWC Board, Shaggy Texas, and a Virginia Tech site. I'm on GoWyoGo as DCPoke and I lurk around here as The Virginian.

Other than that, not much...

Still remember the time on GWG of you telling everyone that your son was safe after the horrible Virginia Tech shooting years ago.

That was a scary day. Fortunately, my son was late getting back to campus from weekend Army Reserve duty and so was on the road when the shooting occurred. Had he been back in time he had a class in the building next to where the shooting occurred. That's one time I was glad he'd missed class.
