That's why I didn't mention them. :D

It has looked better with Trey Woods starting and may continue to get better with a full strength o line and all of our receiving threats.

I still contribute our oline struggles to the loss of Russell Dennison. In the one season he was here, he changed our identity on the oline from the dough boys that DC recruited to a dominant, physical bunch. They still weren't great pass blockers last year, but they opened huge holes for Hill to run through. After he left, we're starting to look like dough boys again.

We need a good strength coach ASAP.

Junky, do you really think Fort is that much of an upgrade over the two others?

I do. He's taller, faster, more athletic, and can jump higher than the other guys. The coaches have even said that. He has qb smarts from high school. If he can run routes and has good hands, he's our best pass catching threat at tight end.

There's a reason why he was number one on the depth chart at tight end coming out of camp. He's the best tight end we have.

I think Fort’s hands may be questionable, for some reason I seem to remember him having a drop on a relatively routine ball (may not be remembering that correctly though). Harshman, while not as big or fast seems to get open and have pretty solid hands. He’s had a couple clutch grabs the last two years.

Harshman's had some VERY good grabs, including that one-hander in stride earlier this year. One of the things I like the best about him is just that ability: catching while on the run. I don't know what his YAC is, but I bet it's pretty decent (and yes, I know he's only got 8 catches on the season). He's averaging 5.5 YPC higher than Mayfield, though.

I also liked more balls thrown to Nico Evans. He's a little cannonball who appears hard to tackle well in space.

I like Harshman, which is why I'm so excited to see Fort get up to game speed. The coaches think he's a better tight end and the best receiving threat we have at tight end.

In addition to Josh, that sounds really good to me.

USU fan here.
Good luck today, Pokes! Boise should be beatable. As always, I hope all the kids stay healthy.
Go Pokes! Go AGGIES!

That's why I think there will be a lot of short passes to backs.

That and more screen passes. If Boise plans on putting the heat on Josh Allen, and I think they will, I really hope Vigen has a game plan to counter that with some screens, draws, etc. You gotta keep them honest somehow when you don't have a running game.

I like our chances in this one, and I know I'm risking a massive prediction by saying that. There's my nuts on the table. I think we might beat Boise for the first time ever on the blue.

Welp....there it is folks, the kiss of death. You can be assured that whenever Cowboy Junk makes a prediction it will go the other way 99.99999% of the time.

Expect BSU to win by 30+.

Yeah, all I got right last year is:

1. NFL scouts would drool over Josh Allen, and that he was better than Brett Rypien after 2 games of the season.
2. Our defense would score a lot of points last year after 1 game of the season.
3. That UNLV and EMU were trap games.
4. That we would break SDSU's 20 game conference win streak after giving up 70 to UNLV the week before.
5. That you're a douchebag BYU sock puppet.

How's 1-6 taste or did you guys lose again to get to 1-7 Stunner?

Allen has to have the best game of his college career to win this road game. No first throw interceptions. He has to be on his game all night long.

I trust the defense will play for all 4 quarters but the offense had to do the same and that is something it hasn't come this year as of yet.

Next time keep your predictions to yourself Cowboy Junk. Everyone will be better off for it.

Thanks in advance.

Says the fan of the 1-7 BYU Cougars. Guess what, at least we didn't lose to East Carolina.

There's a reason why you're trolling our board with one of your 1000's of false indenties, it's because your team is a steaming pile of 26 year old shit.

4-3 > 1-7
