Wyo is at the Cliff Keen Invite in Vegas, some really tough competition. Here's a look at how they are faring halfway through Day 1 (all rankings are seeds):

133#: Drew Templeman goes 1-2, done for the tourney.
141#: #11 Cole Mendenhall goes 1-2, done.
149#: #11 Brandon Richardson loses first but wins next 2, still alive in consols at 2-1.
157#: #4 Andy McCulley alive in consols at 1-1.
165#: #12 Dakota Friesth alive in consols at 1-1.
174#: #13 Brent Havlik alive in consols at 1-1.
184#: #6 Benjamin Stroh wins first 2 (Pin @ 2:39 & 4-0), up next quarterfinals against Kyle Lux of Northern Iowa.
197#: #8 Shane Woods wins first 2 (11-1) & (2-0), up next quarterfinals against #1 seed (#2 in the country) Taylor Meeks of Oregon State.
HWT: Leland Pfeifer done at 0-2.

Wyoming as a team tied for 9th with Virginia.

Disappointing day 2 for the wrestlers - 9 matches wrestled and 8 were lost, although the competition was fierce. Wyoming ended up in 14th place, with Stroh taking 5th @ 185 and Cox 6th @ 125. Logan Stieber was the outstanding wrestler - kid is a manimal.
