Weird weekend from the team with some huge Highs and very low's. It is like they couldn't get settled after the long break. Joey Novak did win the tourney and appears to be on a mission.

The team overall did well to take 3rd IMO. Carroll lost a crucial match against the Minnesota wrestler for NCAA seeding but I think he can beat him (looks like Carroll got caught on the highlights with some of his funky 125 lber stuff). Any word on the Neitenbach injury? MFF out of the tourney.

Good it wasn't an injury. Was worried they might have had a big blow.

My bigger concern was no Riley Davis who has an injury history. Lane Foard is a very good wrestler at 174 but was weird no Davis on the trip

Foard has a chance to be an All-American someday I think. Riley Davis doesn't seem to have close to that upside from what I've seen. Seems to be a good swap to me. In the days for the transfer portal, it is crazy not to wrestler your best wrestlers even if they are true freshmen.

Foard has a chance to be an All-American someday I think. Riley Davis doesn't seem to have close to that upside from what I've seen. Seems to be a good swap to me. In the days for the transfer portal, it is crazy not to wrestler your best wrestlers even if they are true freshmen.

Davis has beat some ranked wrestlers this year and beat them his freshmen year. His gas tank is unbeatable but his shoulder may not make it.

Davis could AA if he was able to stay healthy

I think he controlled the guy’s arm through the whole sequence hence why he was able to “get out” so quickly because there was no control

I thought once you are on top with a leg in that is an automatic takedown regardless if the opponent has an arm or anything else.
