:tickedoff: Seriously, either make a constructive comment in support of Burman or let it slide. We never want to hold anyone in leadership accountable for their actions anymore. Your arguments are similar to the chorus of Obama supporters who don't want the incumbent blamed for anything he's done for the past 4 years. They shift blame and attack anyone who says he should account for his screwed up administration!! Sorry for bringing politics to bear, but the similarities are striking to me. Burman has compiled a crappy record as an AD. Its time to hold him accountable. If he were honorable, he'd fire DC and resign the next day
 
Speaking of constructive posts, you and wyomingfishing might be the worst posters I've ever seen. Out of your 42 posts, i'm willing to bet that you haven't posted about anything other than your personal hard on for Burman/Christensen. In reality, you're just a troll. Don't come here and lecture me and the others about the nature of our posting. We're here to share in the ups and downs of Wyoming sports and discuss/comment on them. If you're into mob rule, then go ahead, stir the pot! I'm sure the mob is always rights. We'll have a new president soon and I'm sure he'll evaluate Burman's performance. Burman will be held accountable for his decisions. Hopefully, we choose a competent President that cares for athletics and wishes to make a step forward.

As for the political thing, it really doesn't matter. When you have two candidates that are both willing to bankrupt the country maintaining a large free standing army to manage our empire abroad, there isn't much difference. I will not vote for anyone who does not bring every soldier home and close every foreign base. None of our conflicts have helped our national security one bit. We should protect our borders. That is it and that is all.
 
I hate to admit it, but I'm kind of glad smith was kicked off the team. I thought he was probably going to be a dud.

I dont mean to lecture, but snarky shallow attacks on those who post are a poor subtitute for putting forth an actual argument.

While I dont agree with much or what you said, and you still worked in a snarky attack, at least there is something there.

Hopefully the new president will set things right, certainly the opportunity is there. The reason I am fixated on Burman is because, in my opinion, Wyoming can't get better under his leadership. Its the number one problem. If UW replaces this coach, but puts Burman in charge of finding a new one, it wont end well.

This issue has to be addressed. If you want to charactarize it as pot stirring, that IS a legitimate argument, just one that is, in my opinion, not very helpful.
 
It gets old man. The only topic thats gayer than "fire the coach and AD" is conference realignment. let this season come to an embarrassing end and enjoy some hoops while we calm down and reevaluate things. I just can't see how we fire a guy after a piss poor year the following season after he was MW COY and everyone was on his dick.

Dumbasses. I hate to see Martinez get kicked off...he was a stud in the wrestling ring. Shakir wasn't necessarily a dud, but he never had a chance to develop and shine.

The Affidavit sounds to have a sound basis and so it seems that these dismissals are more than justified. To make matters worse, both players involved have prior convictions from their time on campus. Hope they can both grow up and live positive lives.
