Currently watching the 1st half again of the game last year and several things are glaring to me:
1) The D played its ass off trying to contain a potent #10 ranked Ute O. They were forced to play a lot in the 1st half while the O struggled with a number of 3 and outs.
2) Offensively, I am not seeing the line struggling but rather I am watching some absolutely horrible play-calling and watching ACS and his happy feet. :thumbdown: Starting every series with a run tendency and forcing a passing situation with 2nd and 3rd and longs is playing right into the Ds hands. AA ran hard and had some creases against a very good Ute D. McNeil had some success early in space but Arroyo never went back to him.
3) Youth is everywhere and the youth is making plays on both sides of the ball, and that excites me!
4) Overall Assessment? Thank GOD we now have OC Gregg Brandon as he will be a difference maker for our O this season. :thumb: I wish we were playing these clowns this year.
