I can't help thinking about the last time this situation happened which was very recently. There was the hope that Brett Smith made it through his entire junior season so that Jason Thompson could have another year to lead the team after he was gone. The next thing we know, Brett had declared and Thompson was off to the SLC. Stuff like this is interesting to discuss, but we haven't had enough winning seasons back to back to back to worry about it. The best guy should play. Period. Hopefully that means Coffman has a great year this season, then Allen has the reins for the next two seasons. My original question is what if Cam struggles for like 3 or 4 games, would they pull the switch? I guess it's hard to tell until we see them in real action.
