Worst UW Football Article (as of now)

Cliff notes (the last line of the article): Big body, big skills, big personality, big potential — and, at times, the possibility of big disappointments.

So unlike Gags to write such a turd. A RS Sophomore QB, who hasn't played a full game for roughly 2 years, may at times struggle? Say it isn't so Gags, you literary genius! Of course he is going to have some mistakes...

I don't agree with some of the writing on this but he is correct with the P word, potential. yeah I can see it, he can be a similar QB to Brett Smith, he's big and has a hell of a gun, but I'll be willing to see what happens, hopefully for the better than what we're accustomed to the past couple years!!!

Maybe someone could tell the Casper Star guy to write a football article. One that offers info, news and insights about the team would be great. You know, because it's football season.

Yeah. Makes the Holmgren look like a Pulitzer prize winner.

Meh. I think folks are being a little thin-skinned. Sure, Gags is being a bit of a Captain Obvious, but it's a realistic article- smacks of "Hope for the best, expect the worst," kind of optimism.

As far as the new guy and reportage, not sure how many in the eastern half of the state are aware, but the Trib, in hard copy form, is no longer available in the western part of the state. Like almost all newspapers, the Trib is basically in a very slow death spiral and is making cuts constantly. Not saying that this is the reason, but it could be an issue now, and definitely will be one going forward...

Wyoming media needs to get in front of the curve and figure out a digital/ on-line model to cover sports in the state of Wyoming. There's a serious opportunity right in front of the stodgy old guy-who-just-learned-how-to-use- the-remote control that is traditional print media...
