Win out and we are a #7 Seed

Ok, tonight was a tough loss, but guess what, we lost to SDSU last year twice and pulled off the upset. As of right now we are the #7 seed, win out and we will stay the #7 seed and that gives us a chance. Go Pokes, Never Quit - sucks that you lost, but, I still believe this team can pull out a miracle.

Realistically if Wyoming were to win their final two games there is a good chance they could still get the 6th seed.

UNLV also has to play SDSU their final game and they will probably lose that since they are playing with only 6 scholarship players right now from all of their injuries. That would put Wyoming and UNLV in a tie.

You also look at CSU's final 3 games and there is still a good chance they might lose 2 of those 3 and if that were to happen it would put CSU and Wyoming also in a tie. Wyoming holds the tie breaker over both UNLV and CSU from head to head competition if that scenario played out which would give Wyoming the #6 seed. So the UNLV game on Saturday is somewhat a big game in that respect and with their injuries I would say we have a decent chance at a win.

Not sure I want the #6 seed though. I think the best case for Wyoming would be to get on a side of a bracket that had both Fresno St. and Nevada. I could see a scenario where Wyoming could beat a Fresno St. and a Nevada in back to back nights much more than a SDSU or a Boise St.

I think the best case would be for Boise to get the #4 seed and be on the same side as SDSU and then Wyoming get to play either Nevada or Fresno in the quarters assuming we can win the first night.

Just win out and get some momentum and let the chips fall as they would. It will be an extremely hard road no matter what.
