Why I love BYU not being in the MWC

It doesn't matter what conference you are in in college hoops, you are going to lose some conference games.
And BYU just lost to a nobody team, the Portland Pilots.

I love that BYU is losing to teams like Portland, and not beating teams like NM and SDSU.

Also, went to the Black 14 event on campus today, fuck byu.

I'm kinda torn on it. I always took those losses the hardest (being Mormon, I know lots of BYU fans that wouldn't let me hear the end of it), but I was always super psyched when we beat them. I still chuckle when they lose like they did to Portland or when they went on their 4 game losing streak, but my hate for them has kinda subsided since they aren't on the schedule. And that was a kind of hate of BYU that I always felt was a tiny part of what it meant to be a Cowboy fan.

More curious than anything. It's certainly been in the works for a while, so I think that there are going to be some impressive effects. As long as they don't have a Jar-Jar type character everything should be fine :thumb:
