It's officially been basketball season for quite a while already, with the performance of the football team. The off field behavior problems haven't helped. Smith gets ejected for being a competitor and not backing down. That wasn't great but I can excuse a young kid for a mistake. The next week the head coach makes face book while wearing jerseys that read: honor, dignity, and ethics on the back.
I am 100 percent confident that the teams Shy and Joe put on the floor will not conduct themselves in the same manor.
We've got a plethora of good young basketball players of both sexes. Who will be the rising sophomore everyone is talking about at the end of the season? Which freshman will have the biggest impact? Both the men's and women's teams are similar in this regard. The men feature Larry Nance Jr. after another year in the system. He really started to shine at his roll towards the end of last year. The mens program has a freshman that is probably delivering the most excitement in Josh Adams. He's an explosive player that has bleed brown and gold since he committed. The women's team has a potential sophomore conference player of the year candidate in Woodward. She looks like the early favorite for most impact out of any of our young basketball players, and she's a native. The Princess of Pass hits the courts in Laramie this year. Her bloodline will have everyone in Laramie lining up to see her. Her dad is a hell of a point guard and I would bet a pretty good teacher. She should be a fan favorite from jump street.
Tip-off is coming soon.
