This is a very big question. So far DC's teams haven't put up much of a fight against top competition and we seem to have always played the game to simply try to run the clock out as quick as possible.

Hope to see a different team on Saturday otherwise it will be a sea of red after halftime.

While I think another Texas/Boise-like blasting might occur, I don't think its fair to put the team in that category. Sometimes the other team is just better. And other times, the opposing team is just superior in every facet of the game.

Wyoming's improving, but I wouldn't hammer the guys if they lose big this weekend. Now if Smith's a senior on a seasoned Cowboys team and they lose @Oregon by 65 points, then yeah let them have it. But this team is far too young to expect much from them.

I think we will be ready to go. I think CC put a fire under the defense this week and I have a lot of confidence in Brett Smith on the offense. As long as he doesn't have the "weird" turnover that he has had in every game this year so far. (example: first offensive play of the weber st. game.)

I don't think its the tcu-boise team or the cs-ewe team. I believe we'll get the same team that played texas the last couple of years. It's at home and the fans are excited so I don't see the team totally melting right away. They also aren't getting a ruben narcisse speech like they did before the csu game. My biggest worry is how bad are they gonna run down our throats. I see no reason why our run defense still isn't one of the softest in the nation. I'm gonna be humiliated if burkhead and martinez jog in untouched for td after td after td, but I see no way we can stop it. This is not Joe Glenn/Breske's defense, but how I wish it was!!!!

First off the "Ruben Narcisse speach" was prior to the (at Texas) and home against Boise State game after the tragedy (not 9 weeks later before the CSewe game)...as embarrassing as it is to say that. Second, Joe didn't coach defense (or much else), and Breske is working at what FBS school now (he is such a coveted D coordinator)...no offense Missoula punks. Ghalli does not need to play defense...we are not low on tough hard-hitting LB's. Keep Ghalli on ST's & O is best for the team. Shamwow got burned more than a crack whore's fingers...disagree about missing him. And last...you are probably right. Although he dictates what goes on, forcing English into making decisions he normally wouldn't.

#3. This is Dave Christensen's god damn defense, offense and special teams. Just like when Joe Glenn was around it was his offense, defense and special teams. The head coach is in charge of it all. Got it?
