Also 1999 BYU @ UW. Beautiful November night game, and we knock off a (12th?) ranked BYU 31-17.

My grandmother in northern WY recorded that game for me and I STILL have it. Haven't watched it since 1999.
I was thinking about that game last night while enjoying a few pints at the Buck. The goalpost hanging proudly over the bar!

Snowstorm, The War vs. bWHYu, Jim McMahon vs. Phil Davis & Darnell Clash. Best game I have ever seen. Pretty sure it was 1981. We whipped their asses. Clash seemed to have 300 punt return yards that day. As a young kid, everything seemed HUGE.

Best Cowboy game I ever saw in person was that 1988 Air Force game down at Colorado Springs. Great Cowboy comeback. Fun game to watch.
Ditto. Great game. We started tailgating early with my buddies brother and his friends, who were West Point grads stationed at Fort Carson. Got on the local radio and then blow over by an F15 fighter. Great atmosphere too.

Another good comeback was @ Iowa State in 1996. We made a nice comeback to win it.

Go Pokes!

What's VHS?

You're joking...right?

Yes.

When my wife and I got married, she had some movies on VHS, I made her throw them away because A. as a woman, she has a lot a crap already and B. It's not like we would ever watch them.

I think the only reason we had a VCR is because it was a DVD/VCR combo.

Would throw in 1990 @ Utah. The kicker/punter gets hurt and we end up going for it on 4th down and making it more often than not. Pokes win 28-10.

That was awesome. So Flemming hurts his plant leg and Roach had no back-up kickers. We went for it on every fourth down or punted. On PAT's, Flemming would stand next to the holder and just swing his kicking leg and barely pooch the ball over the uprights.

The Utards placed UW fans on opposite sides of the field so we did the "traditional" W-Y-O echo chant throughtout the game (without an announcer ...amazing).

After the game, some Utard hucked a full can of beer that went right through the big Base Drum in UW's band.....would have killed somebody had it hit a noggin.

Awe those were the days when the Utards sucked and their facilities were total garbage....damn you Winter Olympics for rescueing that school's facilities!

I just remembered -- Flemming was also the only punter so our QB had to fill in and he couldn't punt worth a damn. It was a punt at last resort situation but most of the time we just went for it.

Yup, backup punter was Tom Corontozos. The first punt he made, Utahs punt returner lined up as though Fleming was still in the game. The punt was well short of that mark, and the Utah guy muffed it. He learned the next time though.
