What Wyoming needs

This is the chance for UW to break into the untapped streaming market to offering streamed games @ monthly or yearly packages. We have the CBS Sports which honestly is fine if you want audio only but with the fact that Wyoming potentially lost 95% of it's televised games if the University cares they need to take a stand now and get streaming accomplished for Audio and Video both and quit living in the 90's.

Not sure why K2 can't step up and try to deliver the games.. I see stations of equal size do it in Montana for UM and MSU.. quality isn't great sometimes, but I'll take that over not seeing the game at all..

The university is already capable of this now. They have all the equipment. I worked for the audio/video dept last year and they have the capacity to do it.

What's their hold-up? Do they have the staff to run the camera, do the announcing, and sell the rights to K2?

I think UW is in a contract with CBS Sports for streaming and that is the only reason I Can see why they aren't doing it themselves but even through cbssports they still don't stream video.

Like Womens basketball and wrestling get internet streams but Mens Basketball and Football do not.

I wouldn't mind. I wouldn't be very, uh, unbiased, especially with certain teams, but I wouldn't mind. And it would probably just as, if not more colorful than Mr. T's. And that's when I'm sober.

No they could not do full hd. They need a couple more new cameras. Some of them are currently Hd and some aren't.

We need more national coverage...tv..media..etc......I think that is what hurt us after ESPN went away.....not saying I am a huger fan of the mothership...but.....

It would work better if the conference had something like NHL gamecenter. A website and an app that sends push notifications and streaming via website and app. All conference all the time.

I've done play-by-play before. I know a guy that's pretty high up the ladder at Altitude. I'm seeing if I can talk him into getting the network to pick up Wyoming, Air Force, and CSU, then I'll apply to do some play-by-play for them :thumb:
