What will ALL ACCESS get me?

So, I am learning that for the Wyoming home games, I will pretty much just get streaming audio? They don't stream live video for the home football/bball games? Just trying to figure out if I want to pay for all access or not. I hate not having the mtn. only reason I had direct tv. probably will get rid of it now. any more news on what might be televised?

Yeah its a bummer its only audio, but its better than just staring at a sportscast. Ill be getting an all access again this year. Im still hoping roots or ESPN3 will pick up some more.

As usual any games on TV and all Audio broadcasts I'll make sure those without access don't go without completely.

Do we have any Wyoming fans that either live in the Texas area that get the Longhorn network or someone with FIOS from verizon that gets the Longhorn network that can stream the game online? I'm sure there would be a few of us that would kick in a few dollars just for a compliment to anyone that would do it. I know i would throw a few sheckels someones way if it can be done just as a way of saying thanks. :thumb:

It will suck to not be able to watch that game (the first game of the year) against a great program like Texas if there is no way to watch it. Damn TV networks these days!

I'm talking to someone I know that gets pretty much every station to stream it but I won't know for another week if there is anything conflicting.

Thanks Wyo2dal! That would be great if you were able to pull it off. :thumb:

Dude, you are awesome. :thumb:

Another method is if you know anyone with FIOS you can get their account name and password you can sign into the longhorn network stream and watch the game on the streaming website. That is what I'm looking for atm is someone with fios.

The one thing I love about audio is Dave Walsh. If I could watch the game and listen to Cowboy Football with him and mckinney. I am just hoping we have a lot of "TOUCHDOWN COWBOYS!" from DW this year.

It's really sad to me that we can't get at least a standard definition TV broadcast of all the games at this point. TV/Internet broadcasting is easier than it has ever been, cameras are more powerful, and on top of that, getting DECENT (not great) equipment is CHEAP!.

I have a feeling I'll have less of a hard time finding broadcast Colorado high school games than Wyoming Cowboys games on TV :(

Problem is that CBS Sports owns the rights to the games. They are talking about buying them back and then the schools will stream the games online, but that wont be till next years football season.

I shot an email to Kevin McKinney asking him what was going on with the TV schedule today. Here's what he sent back:
Hi Bryan. You certainly are not alone in this regard. We are all awaiting the final word as well. I do believe a good number of Cowboy games will be carried on a regional carrier. Unfortunately it is out of our hands. The conference office is doing all of the work on this front. Again a vast majority of the games will be aired, and more than likely on a regional carrier that you can access.

Thanks for being a heck of a Wyoming fan Bryan. Hopefully we can all find out this information as soon as possible.

Take care, and stay in touch.

Kevin

Hell, I'd settle for a MW mobile app similar to NHL game center or like the nfl one where you can follow each game in the MW. I think you can already on espn right? I think I followed the AF game as we drove through Nevada. At least you can see a field chart and get basic play by play and scoring fairly well.

Wyo2dal that is awesome!!! I hope we can get some games streamed.

Bryan, do you get the feeling that these regional channels will be accessible through direct tv??

I have absolutely no inside info to back this up, but I'm thinking ROOT RM or Altitude are our best bets. Both available on DirecTV.

I'd really like to watch Cowboys on Altitude.

And both available on basic cable (channels 23 (ROOT) and 27 (altitude) respectively).

I am living out of state now and would like to know the streaming information so I can have access to as much as possible. Please let me know how I can access the content you stream.
