Hey wyonation

So I have been off the grid for awhile and haven't been following the developments of conference realignment and tv coverage. So what the heck is going on? Only one cowboy game on tv this fall!!!!?????? I am from Iowa, and I currently have the sports pak soley for the mtn do that I can watch cowboy football and basketball. Is this really true. The mtn. Is going under??? This has ruined my day if it's true.

The last day TheMTN will be on the air is tomorrow.. they announced a couple months ago they were going under.

We currently only have 1 nationally televised game for the upcoming season. The school is in discussion with regional networks to pick up some more. (ROOT Rocky Mountain, Altitude, etc...)

I REALLY hope Altitude steps up and takes on Wyoming.
You and me both. I know the guy that does the Nuggets and Avs play-by-play on Altitude radio. I've been bugging him to tell the powers that be to pick up the front range schools. He said they had a meeting about it the other day, but I haven't heard what went down.

All I know is Altitude covered Big Sky games last year. They don' t have that contract this year. I'd be very suprised if the front range football games aren't picked up by either ROOT or Altitude.

Root has the Big Sky this year.. almost all the games they're showing is Montana and MSU vs. someone

Sounds like they could use some FBS material, like the Front Range schools and UNM.

Well If any games are on TV that aren't available for you guys but are available for me you can still count on me to stream them however don't keep your fingers crossed odds are we are going to be listening to Dave Walsh & Kevin McKinney 90% of the season.

Anyone know why the Mtn. shut down this off-season? Why not next year when the conference is completely fucked over? Don't see why things couldn't have continued for one more year before entering a new T.V. contract. Now everyone's just "doing their own thing"....which in UW's case, really sucks. Hope ROOT sports can pick this stuff up.

Wasn't the Mtn. losing money? Not much reason to keep operating at a loss when the future outlook does not look very promising.

I'd be willing to bet that we will have video access to most if not all football games, but it really sucks for basketball. I doubt we see the Cowgirls on TV at all.

Odd enough Cowgirls get streamed games over the internet so we will se emore video coverage of the Cowgirls then the Cowboys if you count internet streaming.
