It was overblown because she wasn't a good kicker, right?

The case was dismissed in court due to no evidence of it. Also CU had problems with this since 1989 over several different coaches so it was not just Barnett. He got in trouble over saying demeaning comments toward her and that is why he got suspended, not because of the rape. CU was never accused of recruiting violations through the whole thing and he was fired because he started losing football games. The 2004 scandal was the only time he had any issues through all of his years of coaching. I am not putting him as a top candidate, just saying that he might be one and that he would not be a bad hire with his track record as a coach. My top choices would still be Bohl, Wilcox, Campbell, and Ogeron if he doesn't get a gig. I was just throwing Barnett out there as another name into the fire as a potential candidate that would be able to win some football games.Cowduck said:fromolwyoming said:No, she was raped by members of the team and the school or coach tried to sweep it under the rug, if I remember right. That's my point. Sarcasm font fail. Barnett disparaged her ability as a kicker as if it had any bearing on the allegations she was making.

OC Gesser/Bouknight
WR Bouknight if not OC. Maybe Floyd if career is over after injury
OL Goldberg (just returned to Laramie)
RB ? No idea honestly
DC Randy Shannon (TCU LB coach).
LB Wilcox Shannon bring over
DB Wilcox Shannon bring over
Special Teams - why not bring an Aaron Eiling in. Kid was a great kicker and played in the NFL.
Guys this is just a thought. No need for name calling or calling me an idiot. I would love to see a staff like this. Would love to see other thoughts. I am excited for this team, the talent is there and so is the heart. Just one good coach away
