What is up with Stutzriem's comment?

Something along the lines of if Joe goes, so does he. Who the hell does he think he is! If that is truly how he feels (and he wasn't just being a typical 19 year old know it all that mistakenly spouted)...time to cut bait. Good effing riddance you dime-a-dozen chump!

I think he was emotional and standing by his coach. Kind of doubt he will leave, but not too worried about it either way, we have equal talent on the team already, but would like him to stay.

I'd be pissed if I were Sutz too. He's a freshman with the qualities of becoming a Senior backup QB and holder on field goals. Glenn has him starting. He's in real danger of losing his job.

Seriously, just a kid, a spoiled kid, who said some other stupid things too, like pointing out how many players had no other options than Wyoming. I think that's called giving ammo to the enemy.

Lets face it. UW has a football team to win football games. In return, we give them a college education for free.

He apologized on the AD's presser. Admitted he was emotional.

That is good to know. Real good to know. Surely he learned a lesson, and maybe others can learn from it as well...

Don't take a dump where you eat!

Did you see it on the Mtn Cap? It was actually quite hilarious and embarassing at the same time. I thought he was going to cry. He apparently has no problem with the losing ways that he has become accostomed to here at UW. He is also now officially 2-2 as a starter. So much for Glenn's quote "I think we have a winner!" after the sweet momentum gaining against the Vols. He said that he wanted Burman and Whisenhunt to "man up and come down here and tell us to our faces what is going to happen". Are you kidding me Mr. 245lb wanna be QB? You are calling out the AD? He then went on to say that it was his fault for losing the UNLV game so maybe they should pull his scholarship. I think he may actually have a point there.

Some of you are really quick to jump on a 19 year old kid. IMO, that is ridiculous. How many of you can actually say that you have never said anything you didnt really mean when you are running on emotion?

Stuz actually impresses me! Read his comments in the 11/25 Casper Star. He admits he really didnt mean what he said, and IMO is very well spoken for a 19 year old. Stutz has shown that he is a competitor who will unconditionally support his teammates and coaches, what more can you ask? I know I would want players like Stutz on my team. You guys have the right to continually bash him, I just hope he stays with the Cowboys, because no matter what the kid is an asset! I dont care what he weighs, I dont care how he throws...I care about the way he plays (yes he has missed some reads, but when he was on the field, the team had its best chance to win this year).

I don't think there was a whole ton of continual bashing, but more like some casual observations. I am loyal to the University of Wyoming, period, plain & simple. Coaches come & go, as do AD's, players, etc. The University of Wyoming is here to stay, and THAT is what I am a fan of. For some 19 year old (or 20, 21, 42, 66, whatever) to make some comments like he did, he deserves a little barbequing. Sure, he retraced and took back his comments, and we can all chalk that up to him being young...so end of story kind of. He absolutely should have been held accountable by EVERY fan (administrator, fellow teammate, etc.) for his comments...and then, he stood up and owned them...so time to turn the page and hope he is as loyal as a player as I am as a fan...to The University of Wyoming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On Chris's Facebook he posted a thing that said "Powder River Let'er Buck, Once a Cowboy Always a Cowboy, I probly ran my mouth a little too much"
