What is the strength of this team?

Is it our punt team now. Our defense is pathetic and overrated. Our offense seems to be getting better, but our offense line couldn't block a turtle. Our kickoffs can't get to the endzone. It looks like our punt team and punt coverage teams are the best now.

Hey we won and the defense stepped up when it needed to. 2nd game in a row where our true freshman QB leads a come from behind victory.

It definitely wasn't pretty but they showed some guts out there. I would say that our strength is that we are improving every week. ACS is special. The way we respond when we get behind is great, we would have just laid down last year. We traveled nearly 2000 miles, endured 90 degree heat and 90% humidity, got jobbed by the refs, and still managed to pull out a victory against a team that has won bowl games the last two years. Keep in mind that we gave up 380 yards to FAU, they put up 360 on Nebraska, 500 on ULM, and over 300 on South Carolina. The D needs to improve, but we have been going up against some offensive juggernauts (minus CU)

Bring on the Loblows...it will be great to see the pokes at 4-2. I think bowl eligibility is good possibility. Too bad we choked against CU, we could have been looking at 5-1

i dont think that our d is way bad its our pass d that needs the most work and another strength of ours is DC our headcoach how bout putting ACS as starter and stewart as running back he had a big score

A team that is VERY fast on all skill positions IS going to have success against a slower defense. That we only gave up 21 points defensively and 380 total yards to this team is quite impressive. We won't be seeing any other team that is that fast overall on offense again this season.

Also, we had a 420+ yard game in 90 degree heat... can't complain about that :)

How about Stewart? Seems like a bit of a playmaker!

IMO, the strength of our team is ACS and his ability to maintain drives with his feet. I think we have had more long drives this year (10 plays or more) with ACS starting than we had all last year.

I would say the strength right now is the toughness of the team. This is MUCH tougher team physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Conditioning & Toughness. Hands down.

ACS leading the team all day with a bleeding head should be enough to motivate the team to stick it out and play with some fire.. if a freshman can play with a bleeding head from the first play, that should speak volumes for the rest of the team.

Exactly! It's nice to have the cowboy "toughness" back with our football program
