what does the bowl ring look like?

hey everybody, does anyone know what company will be making the bowl ring? jostens?
have they designed it yet? have they ordered it yet? can we see what it will look like?
hopefully recruits will see what it looks like and want to go to wyoming to get them one.
 
Tried searching online to see if they had any pics of this or last year's ring.. didn't see any.
 
oh i get you. from csu and fresno.
i think the rings come from the school and are designed by the coaches or players. either way i hope it looks cool. i have seen some dull looking ones with just a stone in the middle or a football. i would love to see the bucking horse logo in the middle.
 
i was hoping that this years ring would have steamboat on there. you wouldnt happen to have a picture of what it looked like would you?
im just hoping they dont get something dumb like a football in the middle or nothing that makes it stand out. steamboat makes it look very unique. also some sort of w wouldnt be bad, im just hoping they make it look awesome.
 
They defintely should not put this on the ring. Fugly.

can we see pictures from the sides of the ring? where does it say new mexico bowl champions?
that thing looks pretty big. can you imagine once dc makes that a conference championship ring?
 
No I'm not a player. I just used my internet navigating skills (aka Facebook) and found it. lol

Imagine if you're a kid being recruited by wyoming and DC walks in wearing that...or walks in with a ring in general and says he expects more rings to come....and could say this one is just for the NEW MEXICO BOWL?! Like btr said, just imagine what the conference championship ring is gonna look like! This rings tops the Vegas Bowl ring by miles!
 
i had been looking around and found nobody that had pictures up. i saw a few who said that the ring looks awesome but they both hadnt put up any pictures. still looking for some better pictures that are real up close and you can see what are on the sides. but you are right when dc walks in the room wearing a conference championship rings twice the size of this one the recruit will say can i sign now.
would you happen to have a picture of what the vegas bowl looked like? someone said it had steamboat, so it be cool to see how they differ. also it be cool if in the football offices where they have the trophys if they would have a ring from each time they went to bowl games. i have been to other schools who have a case of all their rings like that.
 
Yeah that would be sick if they set up the trophy room like that...i'm sure they'll add the ring to the case or something. I know DC has all his rings from MIZZOU in his office..good to see he got his first one of many to come with steamboat on it. I just remember seeing the vegas ring...don't have a pic. It basically looks like a graduation ring compared to this ring.
 
I think the fact that the border war is a part of the ring is awesome... that game was huge and gave us the chance to win a bowl so very very cool in my opinion

Win the MWC, put that on there. Win against CSewe, No. Why? Because I expect to beat them EVERY year, and a win against them shouldn't be enshrined on a bowl ring like is was a major accomplishment. Hell...it is CSEWE!
 
I think it's probably on there because of DCs wanting to renew the hatred that the Pokes should have for CSU. They went soft on CSU during Glenn's years, DC was bringing back the fire to the rivalry. That's why he was there presenting the gameball at the border, that's why he had the countdown clock in the athletics area.. I think really wants to drive home the point that beating the Rams should be a goal every year, and should be celebrated when it happens.
