What choice does Burman have?

If the crickets continue to chirp in the AA, from strictly a financial perspective, he has to consider getting rid of Heath. I have never been overly excited about him, but thought that he would at least put a competitive product on the floor. If things don't get better soon, I think this season could spin into a death spiral really quickly, especially if the player attitudes and potential defections that we are hearing about become more and more prevalent. Being a Poke fan above all, I hope he rights the ship...but I am not holding my breath.

I thought it was pretty clear that Heath would get at least one more year. I'm with you, I am a Poke fan above all and sincerely hope that he does get it turned around...but its not looking good. And if we continue down the path we are on, which could mean winning 2 games in conference and playing our last home game in front of 900 people, you might have to make a change this year.

I would bet the farm that Heath gets another year. Dumping him at the end of this year, means a hefty buyout, and no guarrantee that crowds return next year with a new coach. So I would bet that even if Burman wanted to act now, he would probably just wait. But I agree with you both, I hope we get this turned around. I really wanted Shroyer to succeed, but I have been SOOOOO disappointed with the results, especially this year. You can look at any loss this year and say, well, it was because of .... so and so. But when you look at them all togetehr you really have to wonder what is going on. And that csu loss was just like a kick in the gut to me.
