What a game!

Just got back from the War for the last time this season (and probably quite a few more seasons), and froze my ass off but loved every minute of it!

Sitting on the west side was more entertaining today than it has been any game this season.
The fans actually got off their asses and cheered.
You could sense the frustration with the program, and fans actually cared.

Moved over to the student section in the 3rd after freezing too much and watched the rest over there.

Brett put up INSANE numbers, and I would say has his confidence back. The defense came up with that big stop in OT, and our KICKER made the game winning FG after a day where special teams play almost fucked us.

All in all, it was a hell of a time and one hell of a game, and we are just one win away from bowl eligibility with one week left.
Mock it all you want, but the fact is Wyo just needs to pull out 1 more win to go bowling.

If Brett and the offense come out fired up like they did today, they can do it.
Can't wait to be in Logan next weekend!

If USU plays like they did against the sheep Beavs, we be screwed. Their lines, especially on defense, dominated. Sheep got blanked 13-0.

No argument coming from me.
All I am pointing out is we just need to win 1 game.
We aren't playing Bama or FSU.
I still think it is unlikely we win, but we can go bowling.

Plus, USU doesn't NEED this game. Wyo does.
We come in with a never say die attitude and anything can happen.

Alright, Beav...I mentioned it on another post, but I'll say it again. Any and all bowl talk is premature and our team is a long way off. Besides, all that talk jinxes the teams. You are now not allowed to mention bowls and beret yet, keep quiet until after the game next week...especially if you want the Pokes to have a chance. Lol

Lol hey all I said last week is we just need to win 2 games, unlikely but possible.
Same stuff I am saying now.

I'm just giving you some shit. But every time someone on Gagliardi's chat tonight mentioned bowl or starting to play good, we handed the ball back to Hawaii and let them score. So, yeah...

lol Seriously BP shut it!!! Every time you've gotten excited this year, the following game UW gets eviscerated.

Lol shit, is Wyo athletics to the point where our seasons success hinges on the ramblings of a wyonation forum member?
Lol

My bad. Read that wrong.

That was, indeed, quite the game, in an Ishtar sort of way. Smith had an amazing game. Those are once-in-a-lifetime numbers. It was intriguing and trainwreck-gawking fun...

I hope the Beavers beat Sarkisian...

I hope so too.
And yeah the game was ugly as hell, but they got the win and it was fun.

And like someone else said, a game where special teams were awful all game long, 16 TDs were scored, a FG wins it. Absurd.

It was such a pulsating unforgettable game that ESPN just dubbed it 'an instant classic'.

Yawn...

Hey dipshit, Fort Collins is just 65 miles away. Go there. And stop pretending to support Wyoming.

A bowl is probably out at this time. If we did go - its probably just useful for extra playing time and extra practice time. Of course, after a painful season, a painful game tonight, I'd be happy if we could finish higher in the mountain standings than CSU.

I think what you meant to say here is what a trainwreck of a game. I have never seen sloppier football played at this level. Also, do you think the refs could have reviewed a dozen more plays or so? Longest. Game. Ever. 4 hours and 35 minutes, to be exact.
