Welp, this night keeps getting better for me

My HS alma mater, OKC Putnam City North got slaughtered in the first round of the Oklahoma HS Playoffs, 78-7, to Bixby (town near Tulsa). Bixby is one of the top teams in Oklahoma. PCN's best days were in the 1990s.

Oh, speaking of which....

Congrats to the Cody Broncs for going undefeated (for the 1st time since 1932) in winning a second straight Class 3A state title.

My coworker lived in Oklahoma and man I wish I could remember the story he told me of a player that played for one of the lower teams that was awesome and someone in his family magically got a job at one of the other schools and then he played for that school the next year

Down here football is king but not as much as it is in Texas. In Oklahoma, if you don't win in football regardless of what level you're talking about, don't bother coming home.
