I just went to Jason Thompsons twitter. The picture of him is in a Wyo jersey with the word COMMITMENT on the back...

That one of his messages was from Sam Awrabi? Thompson said, "see you soon here...", I would take it that Sam Awrabi is transferring to Utah as well. I know that Sam left during the season, he is a quitter, so Utah is the perfect place for him.

I didn't know he quit. Good. I heard he was a total douche bag, then heard some other shit about him. Total prick, and 100% full of himself.
 
Big Dave's daughter, Katie, tweeted that she'll be happy to see a familiar face when she gets to Utah. So that's nice that his family will join him with this move.

Yeah, I thought he got kicked off the team. Can't imagine him going to Utah if DC kicked him off the team for being a dhead. And I definitely don't see Utah offering him a scholarship given he never played a down at UW.

Guys...guys...guys.

Come on. Let's not kid ourselves. We are still UW. Not Utah. I know people think we have "atheletes as good as Utah" but reality is...we are still not to Utah's caliber. period. So, to think any Tom, Dick or Harry can just "go" to whatever the hell school they want to is stupid. A bunch of guys saying they will "join Thompson shortly" is comical. Did they forget there are 50+ guys ALREADY on the team (Utah) and the fact that if Utah WANTED them that they would already be on scholarship. This is seriously almos comical seeing all these people thinking they are going to transfer and Utah even wants them.

Second, I honestly think Jason Thompson made a huge mistake. Each to their own, but he would have been THE GUY in Laramie. In SLC he will be riding the pine (again) which makes two years of not taking a snap. I don't care if you are Peyton Manning yourself, but that does not help you become better. Utah has had a run of bad luck with QBs, but they are still getting some damned good recruits in. I live here. I follow the Utah schools bby media default. Utah has some bluechip QBs committed. JT has no guarantee of anything. Very risky by him. I have no ill will towards these guys transferring...but I find it funny that they are assuming they are even wanted or even NEEDED @ new location. My hell.
