At least I don't feel hard done like we've been robbed. After the mono stuff we look like we are the 4th or 5th place team in the conference. So all that at large not getting recognized stuff is spot on now gone. Just saw the new bracketology http://espn.go.com/ncb/bracketology" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Looks like Boise has earned their way in with that SDSU win and they seem pretty deserving doing something we couldn't. Now our only chance is like many on the board had thought anyway of winning the tourney. The pills at least seem easier to swallow right now and I'm taking that as a positive for moving forward as a fan this year. Just another year gone is how it's looking though, sorry fellas if you needed more heartache as a Pokes fan you just got dosed with some more woulda, shoulda, coulda.........stay up and live some good life after this ones done. I'll see y'all around next year.
 
Everyone is checking out and we still have two reg season games to go. And potential for three conf tourney games...
I'll be cheering them on the rest of the way. You all can do what you want.

I completely understand why the season went south and why Wyoming still has a chance. No reason to quit on the team. They haven't quit on us fans.

This is college basketball. Can't throw in the towel yet, lower seeded teams win conference titles all the time. This season may have soured some because the Pokes appear to have missed a golden opportunity at a dream season, but that doesn't mean this has been a bad season.

I get it, I had high expectations too...just saying, this has not been a bad season by any stretch, especially compared to what Wyo football/basketball fans have dealt with since 2000.

All it takes it one game to change momentum. Win tonight, and a Utah State > Boise State > San Diego State path to winning the conference tournament is far from the most difficult path previous teams have taken.

IMO, winning tonight and Saturday, followed by 2 wins in the tourney gets this team into the NIT at least. That isn't anything to whine about.
 
Well I'm a pretty optimistic fan but I just can't see us pulling out 3 in row in the tourney. We look weakened from the mono and we were winning on razor's edge anyway full health. I hope your all right and I'd welcome all surprises but I just feel like we aren't gonna get back to our old level this year. Maybe for a game, but then we have to recover fast to face SDSU most likely. If we can get by that game anything is possible but the first game is gonna be a tall order too. Just how I'm feeling about it all right now. Maybe a strong showing tonight can get me believing again but we're in for another war I'm guessing.

I'm not whining really, but just taking a deep breath with a sigh. It's just this was OUR season for the first time in forever and even then we just didn't have quite enough ya know what I mean? I think this has been a successful season, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who wanted just a little bit more out of it. NIT seems like it might be a stretch but maybe if we close out strong. Still we're talking NIT right now at best :coffee:

I miss your undeniably baseless optimistic spirit! :D Yet again we've taken a punch or two to the head, but I have to believe the gods of karma will eventually notice that we are deserving of something a little better than moral victories. Every day LNJ gets a little stronger right? And 3/4 nance is way better than no Nance at all...

We're not done yet, I think. How can anyone brave enough to wear brown and gold tie dye count us out?
