watching sjsu against minnesota

you're not going to believe this... I had to chuckle

sjsu's back up center edged out the starter this week, so what did they do with the starting center?

they had him start at right tackle! LOL oh my gawd. talk about issues.
 
Their defensive line is very susceptible to the run they can't stop shit or that Minnesota line is just dominant.
 
We got us a good game now. 20-17 Minnesota.
Minnesota needs this win, because it will be tough for them to grab a couple more wins in Big10 play.
SJSU though, well, they look decent. Not going to be easy for many teams to beat, but they don't look great.
 
fales throws a beautiful ball... high trajectory, tight spiral, good velocity. give him a few seconds and he will light you up. at least they are making a game of this.

The Minnesota line is huge, and SJSU is trying to stand toe to toe with them. Not working. They should be hitting low instead, because right now the Minnesota O-line is just pushing the SJSU defense back an extra 5 yards after the ball carrier is wrapped up.

They aren't that big just checked the Roster pretty sure SJSU is just susceptible to the run.
 
SJSU is just getting worn down. Anyone with a decent run game should be able to wear them down.

Minnesota just kicked a FG, up 29-17 in the 3rd.
 
I can see what the major problem with sjsu's defense... its how they line up. the linebackers...

weird alignments... its a coaching issue mainly, but they are creating pockets. staggered linebackers that prematurely telegraph their pressure. and their two linebackers react to the direction of the run... and then run into each other. their front seven look uncoordinated and poorly coached.
 
Minnesota is looking a lot better than SJSU right now.

This game might get ugly for SJSU. I think losing their coach to CU is going to cost them more than USU losing Anderson to Wisconsin.
 
Defense is literally getting ran over every play and their offense can't get anything to work anymore, especially the run game.

It's now 43-17. :D

And on those 4 TDs, I think 3 of them were of the 1 yard or less variety. The Gophers O-Line is having its way with the SJSU D-Line and LBs. This might be the best I've seen the Gophers play as a team in a LONG TIME.

Yep I was just saying in another thread that if you are a Minnesota fan you are probably going to be really excited.
4-0, and next weekend they open up Big10 play at home against Iowa.
They can run the ball well, and when they do pass, it seems to catch people off guard (AFA, Nebraska) so they are able to get some big completions.

That is hillarious lol.
That Minnesota guy was done with the play, then he saw the SJSU kicker running in full speed so he threw a block on him, then the SJSU kicker got all mad for getting leveled.
Like....if you didn't want to get hit by someone much bigger than you, you shouldn't have kept running at the defenseless player on the ground well after the play was over lol.
