So I received an email for an invite to a watch party in Denver to watch the Wyoming vs. San Jose State game. My response was that the watch party should be moved to the Arena Auditorium in Laramie.
I guess that I just don't get it. What is the point of a Denver watch party for a game that is actually taking place in Laramie? It seems to me that these do more harm than good as they encourage fans to actually not attend the game. A Saturday afternoon game in which most people can make!! Thoughts?
-Note: I am perfectly fine with MWC tournament watch parties (or away games) because a lot of us can not make those games due to families and other commitments.
