Benson seriously needs to step down as conference commissioner. First the WAC 16 debacle that ran off all of the power members, than all the Texas teams left, then BSU left, then the idiot tries to double-deal with BWhinerU to try and decapitate the MWC, but instead loses the remaining strong programs. Finally, Hawaii, the last long time member ditches the WAC.
The WAC went from being a rising power conference, to one that should just drop down to FCS under this idiot.

I think UTA was talking about bringing back football. Lately, I haven't heard anymore about it.
SMU used to play UTA in football, even at Texas Stadium. SMU won games in '80 52-16, '81 48-0, in '83 34-0.
I'm leaning towards hoping that UTA brings back football but I wish that UTA, Texas State and UTSA would not join the WAC. It's probably not good for them seeing what it was like when SMU, Rice, TCU and UTEP were there.
And there is more talk about Texas A&M going to the SEC with Clemson. I think that story was on KansasState.scout.com.
And a guy said he heard that 3-4 more SEC schools are going to get hit by the NCAA.
And someone else was talking and was wondering when schools will leave the NCAA because of their own BS ways. I've thought about that for years. The NCAA has rules but doesn't apply them equally.
